What does it mean to be a key OEM supplier?

What does it mean to be a key OEM supplier?

Just In Sequence (JIS) at BRANO GROUP.
Václav Juříček's comments on the state-of-the-art logistics system at BRANO GROUP.

New car models are launched on the market every moment. With each one, the number of variants from which we as customers can choose increases. The effects are obvious. The number of suppliers who deliver parts directly to the assembly line to car manufacturers (OEMs) in a Just In Sequence (JIS) is growing. This means that their products are already prepared in the order in which the cars will be assembled on the assembly line.

"One of our customers is the MAN car company, for whom we manufacture complete pedal assemblies. We supply them in different variants and palletise them before shipping in a precisely defined pearl chain sequence (Just in Sequence) that corresponds to the order of the cars on the production line. By automating the processes, using robots, lift systems and conveyors, we have eliminated the human factor and the risk of confusing parts as much as possible. I see this successful pilot project as crucial for us and a gateway to similar applications for other car and commercial vehicle manufacturers in our portfolio."
